If you have received an invite text from your provider:
Receive a text message from your provider or their office to download pMD
Click on the link to get to the Google Play Store
Look for the icon and download the pMD app
If you can't find your invite text:
Locate the Play Store icon on your Android device and tap to open it
Tap the Search bar at the top of the screen
Type "pMD" and search
Find the pMD app — it has a purple icon with white text
Tap the "Install" button, then tap "Open" once installation is complete
Setting Up Your Account
Enter your cell phone number when prompted
Wait for the verification code — you'll receive a text message with a one-time code. The app will usually detect it automatically and move you to the next screen
Review the permissions the app requests. While you're not required to accept them, we recommend allowing permissions for the smoothest experience and to avoid issues with video calls, notifications, or other features later
I'm logged in. Now what?
Congrats! The provider's office has been alerted that you've successfully registered for pMD. There's nothing else you need to do. Your provider can use pMD to start a text chat, video meeting, or voice meeting. Questions before or after your virtual appointment? Reach out to your practice directly via pMD chat or call their office.
